Named For A Reason

Eye On The Sparrow Companions takes its name from an old hymn about being watched over, never forgotten, and always cared for. That is exactly what we set out to offer the families of Hampton Roads. We began with a simple belief, that no one should feel alone when they need a helping hand, and that the people we love deserve to be looked after with warmth and respect. Today we provide compassionate, non-medical companionship and sitter services, giving seniors, adults with disabilities, and those recovering at home a steady, caring presence.

Care Built Around The Person

No two people need the same thing, so we never offer the same thing to everyone. We take time to learn each client’s routine, preferences, and personality, then build their care around it. Whether it is a familiar face for the afternoon or a watchful presence overnight, we show up dependable, patient, and fully present. Dignity guides every decision we make.

Trained For Peace Of Mind

Life rarely follows a tidy schedule, so our companionship follows your loved one across settings. Whether someone is recovering after surgery, spending a night in the hospital, or settling back in at home, we can quietly stay by the bedside, provide conversation, and relay updates to family. With 24/7 availability by appointment and references available, we aim to be the steady, trusted presence that makes difficult days feel less overwhelming.

Meet Sandy

Eye On The Sparrow Companions was founded by Sandy Varzmanesh, who built the business around a simple belief, that no one should feel alone when they need a helping hand. Her passion for caring for others, and for the people families love most, is the heart of everything the company does. As owner and a companion caregiver herself, Sandy is CPR and First Aid certified and personally committed to treating every client with warmth, dignity, and respect. She is growing a small, trusted team of companions to bring that same care to more families across the 757.
